As I write this, I’ve spent the greater part of the morning working on a new project. There are so many things I don’t know, and that I need to know to get the job done. And I have to keep pushing out of my comfort zone each day. Honestly, it’s a little scary.

But what’s scarier than that?

Is letting my fear keep me small.

Because there are times in our lives when we are called to take a leap. We see a glimpse of what life could be like if we did something new. It’s pretty exciting.

But also? We see how scary it is, how far away it seems, and sometimes we have no idea how we will make it happen.

So, we’re left with two options. We can either…

a.) stay in our comfort zone (stay small) and choose not to do the thing, or
b.) step out of our comfort zone (thus expanding our comfort zone), and become an even greater version of ourselves.

The choice is always ours, and at the end of the day we’re only accountable to ourselves.

So I choose to keep showing up and doing the work.

You know, it’d be a shame to look back in 5 years and see all the things you’ve compromised on.

All the ways you played it safe.
All the times you didn’t say yes.
All the things not done.

Because playing it “safe”? Is not safe at all. In fact, it’s dangerous because your only guarantee is regret.

A life half lived is a life half wasted.

So, wherever you’re at today, know that you have everything you need to live your favorite life. And if you can find the courage step up, the universe will rise up to meet you.
So keep reaching higher.
Keep people in your corner who encourage and support you.
Keep moving out of your comfort zone and into your fears.
Keep expanding.
Keep moving forward.
One foot in front of the other.

Because this is your life. And it’s happening right now. (…And right now. And right now….)

Are you willing to do what it takes to live your favorite life?

The choice is yours.

With lots of love,
